  1. Does anyone use a Pocket Finsbury as a purse/wallet? Can I see your set up?

    1. I use my pocket Hamilton as a wallet/planner. I don't know that it's a proper "set up", but it's what works for me. I have some pics on flickr (lisalou229) if you's like to have a look.

  2. I have a slimline Iguana Filofax, as posted here Vintage Slimline Iguana - by Anita

When I contacted Filofax UK to ask if they have any further details, they replied - 'the Iguana organiser was 2009. I do not have any information about this product, and I think that maybe it was not produced for the UK market'.

I was just wondering if anyone may know more about this model? I was a bit surprised about the year as it somehow just feels more like a vintage binder. Thanks :)

    1. I would date this around 1990 to 1993 from the design and leather. I didn't find the slimline model like this in our catalogue collection, but not everything made was necessarily in one of course.

    2. Thank you very much, gmax! I suppose I would have guessed early nineties as well from other pictures that I've seen.

  3. I am using two week inserts independently in my pocket binder, one that I bought and one I designed. For the one I designed, I initially drew a layout on lined note paper that is based on the Filofax A5 Time Management week one. It was fine but the space for each day is small. Thus, I drew a different layout that has more space for each day. Unlike the Filofax pages there is a separation between the months on my pages. I can use the last page of each month to write notes or information for that month or the upcoming one. I could also place a month calendar between the months. I keep three months of my weeks pages in my pocket binder along with the insert I bought. I also removed the laminated month tabs from the 2014 month calendars and adhered them to the 2015 month pages with clear address labels. This is the second time that I have used the tabs but the paper on a few of them is starting to fray. Overall I am pleased with my insert. I would like to have a computer version but for now I like the one I drew.

I bought just one insert for this year which is a far cry from the number last year. I do not want to buy items for my binder but one office store gave some free items with my purchase for other supplies. I made some new front pages for my binder. Happy New Year.
